Interested in applying? Excellent. We are honored to have your interest in our guild. Before becoming a full fledged member of Guardian Alliance, however, you must go through an application process. This process will take a month or more, but it is simply to ensure that Guardian Alliance is the right place for you.
STEP 1: Register with our forums via the link on our side menu here, or at the end of this guide.
STEP 2 : Go the Applications threads page on our forum's Membership section and start a new topic with your application. Please include basic information, such as your character's name, level, class, city affiliation, and previous guilds. Also, please tell us why you want to join the Guardian Alliance, and what you hope to contribute to and receive from the guild.
STEP 3 : After approval from an officer, you should seek out an officer in game to invite you to the guild. You will be given the rank of Applicant. Usually you will remain as an Applicant for two weeks, provided that you are active within that time. Otherwise your Applicant's rank may take longer.
STEP 4 : After two weeks, you will be eligible to be voted for a promotion to the rank of Initiate. If you have been active with the guild in this time, an officer will post a poll in a private forum for Full Members and above to vote. They may vote to either promote you to Initiate, terminate your application altogether, or prolong your time as an Applicant.
STEP 5 : If a suitable amount votes to promote you, you will be promoted to Initiate. As an Initiate, you enjoy many of the same priviledges as a Full Member. The major distinction is that you will be unable to access the applicant voting forums and vote for new Initiates. Also, Full Members still receive slightly higher priority on loot than Initiates.
STEP 6 : After a period of approximately 30 days, another vote will be posted for you in the private Membership Votes forum. If a majority votes Yes, then you will be promoted from Initiate to Full Member. If you have been inactive, this period may be extended in week intervals.
